Cooking Class At the Greek cooking class, students prepared a traditional Greek salad and made cheese pies. Max and Logan volunteered to help the master chef stuff the tomatoes and peppers for the main course.        Walking Night Tour of the City of Athens  Changing of the guards We gathered in Syntagma Square to watch the official changing of the guards. The military unit members stand proudly in perfect stillness in front of the Hellenic Parliament. Every hour the pair of guards change. All men between the age of 19 and 45 with Greek citizenship of Greek origin, ancestry or descent, must serve mandatory military service of none months regular duty in the army or 12 months in the navy or air force, 17months reserve duty in the army, navy or air force.  |
